ALBION RESPONDS TO URGENT HUMINTARIAN RELIEF REQUEST

The Albion cargo team recently uplifted a total of 121T/792 CBM of humanitarian relief within a period of 48 hours. The cargo was split between a B747F and an A300F and required careful load planning to ensure that all cargo could be uplifted as planned. Close coordination was required between the operators and the ground handling agents to fully optimize the space available on each aircraft, with several shipments needing to be rebuilt upon arrival at the departure airport. The cargo consisted of a wide range of urgent humanitarian relief items, including medical supplies, blankets, tents, and food rations. Both flights were operated successfully, once again demonstrating the Albion cargo team’s rapid response and extensive experience in arranging urgent humanitarian charter flights at extremely short notice.
