ALBION UPLIFTS MEDICAL SUPPLIES TO CENTRAL ASIA

The Albion team recently arranged a B747F charter flight to uplift 98T/417CBM of urgent cargo from Europe to a country in Central Asia.  The shipment consisted of a mix of pharmaceutical and humanitarian relief items, all of which needed to be maintained at varying temperatures. Due to the complexity of the packing list (varying pallet dims and a large number of non-stackable items) careful consideration had to be taken when planning the loadplan in order to ensure that the volume of the B747F aircraft was fully utilized.  This meant that a number of the pallets had to be broken down and loaded as loose.  The experienced Albion cargo team working closely with both the shipper and the B747F operator to ensure that all the cargo could be uplifted as planned.  The Albion Aviation Group regularly provides cargo charter flights for major relief organizations and aid agencies around the world, demonstrating more than a decade worth of experience within the aid & relief sector.
