ALBION CHARTERS B757F TO N’DJAMENA, CHAD WITH HUMANITARIAN AID

The Albion cargo team arranged an urgent B757F charter to uplift nutrient supplements from the UAE to N’Djamena Airport in Chad on behalf of an international NGO.  The nutrient supplements are also known as Ready-to-use Supplements (RUSF), is a food supplement used to treat moderate acute malnutrition in young children.  The shipment consisted of 28T of RUSF, which was urgently needed in Chad and neighbouring countries. The Albion cargo team worked closely with the loadmaster of the B757F, to ensure that all the skids could be loaded inside the aircraft with some skids requiring to be rebuilt to match the internal contour of the B757F.  The Albion cargo team also dispatched one of their experienced Flight Managers from their UAE office to oversee the handover and build-up of the cargo at the departure airport.
