ALBION’S OBC DEPARTMENT ARRANGES THE URGENT DELIVERY OF SHIP SPARES
On the afternoon of Friday 22nd April, the Albion OBC department received an urgent request from one of its clients to find a solution to pick-up and deliver a small package of ship spares from Hamelin, a town located on the outskirts of Hanover, Germany and deliver to Bahrain. Within 30 minutes of receiving the initial request, the Albion OBC team managed to source a courier within Germany using its strategic aviation partner “aeroconcept” and present a formal OBC solution to the client. That same afternoon the package was collected from the supplier in Hamelin and the OBC mission was well underway. Throughout the duration of the OBC mission the client was provided with regular updates on the status of the courier’s progress by the 24/7 Albion OBC team. The package arrived on time in Bahrain, from where it was immediately sent to repair the distressed vessel. The Albion Aviation Group OBC product continues to be a widely used service by Albion’s global client base in supporting their most time critical and sensitive shipping needs.
