ALBION UPLIFTS EMERGENCY HUMANITARIAN AID TO EGYPT

In response to the recent ceasefire in Gaza, the Albion cargo team was tasked with arranging an urgent B777F charter flight to uplift 75T+ of essential humanitarian items to Egypt. The cargo charter flight uplifted a range of different commodities, including blankets, tents and medicines that were required to be kept within a temperature range of +15 to +25 degrees centigrade. Due to the large volume and payload capacity of the B777F, this cargo aircraft type was deemed as the most suitable aircraft for this relief shipment. The flight set-up required careful coordination between the shipper, the B777F operator and the Albion cargo team, so as to ensure that the full capacity of the B777F was utilized and that all cargo was uplifted as planned. The charter flight was a success and operated to schedule. The Albion cargo team is proud to be in a position to support International Humanitarian Organizations and their relief requirements wherever it may be in the world.
