ALBION ARRANGES MULTIPLE EMERGENCY RELIEF CHARTERS IN NOV 2021

 During the month of November 2021, Albion arranged up to seven different relief charters moving a wide range of commodities, including vaccines (COVID-19, Polio, Measles), plastic tarpaulins, kitchen sets, blankets & tents.  In total approximately 210 tonnes/930cbm of relief was uplifted using a combination of A300-B4F and IL76 aircraft to four different countries in Asia and Africa.  The majority of shipments were time critical and required mobilization within just 72hrs-96hrs.  Furthermore, the vaccine shipments were all “keep cool”, so had to be handled with the upmost care and diligence to ensure that the temperature remained consistent between +2°C & +8C°.  Albion continues to further develop and expand its foothold within the relief sector of the charter market.
