ALBION ARRANGES CHARTER FLIGHT FOR AN INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S CHARITY

 The Albion cargo team were recently tasked with arranging a cargo charter flight for 35,700kg/131cbm of urgent vaccines from the UAE to a country in central Asia for an international children’s charity.  The shipment arrived in-transit into the UAE and as the entire shipment was temperature sensitive (+2 to +8 degrees centigrade), careful planning was required to ensure that the shipment remained at the required temperature throughout the transportation phase.  Cold storage was arranged at the transit airport and the aircraft departure was planned during the early hours of the morning to help protect the cold chain.  The charter flight was executed successfully and is just another example of the Albion cargo team’s ability to handle time critical and temperature sensitive cargo flights.
