ALBION ARRANGES MULTIPLE VACCINE CHARTER FLIGHTS TO WEST AFRICA

The Albion cargo team recently coordinated a series of three charter flights from India to West Africa, uplifting an urgent consignment of vaccines requiring strict temperature control between +2°C to +8°C. The total shipment comprised of 5,996 vaccine cartons with a combined total weight of 121,359kg and a volume of 485CBM. All of the vaccine cartons were stackable, allowing for the efficient utilization of each of the cargo aircrafts payload across the three rotations. Each cargo charter flight carried a carefully balanced load of approximately 40,000kg/163CBM, with detailed planning ensuring both the safe handling of the cargo and adherence to the vaccine’s temperature requirements from the departure airport all the way through to the arrival airport.

By successfully managing the uplift of nearly 6,000 cartons of temperature sensitive vaccines across multiple charter flights, Albion Aviation Group once again demonstrated its capability in executing complex, time-critical air cargo solutions for the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
