A four engined cargo aircraft that had its first flight in 1957, testament to the versatility and popularity of the aircraft it has seen over 1,200 built. Effective at completing a host of medium haul missions, one of its major selling points is its ability to operate on unpaved and undeveloped landing strips, while its high-wing design ensure it has better payload qualities, than other aircraft of a similar size. It’s main cargo door is also significantly large for its size, and includes a loading ramp, meaning it can comfortably carry vehicles and other sizeable cargo.
